Who can register?

Chartered Environmentalist is open to anyone who can satisfy the requirements of the CEnv Specification. To be eligible for assessment you must have attained 12 units of learning, including at least 4 years relevant vocational experience, where:

  • 1 year of academic study = 2 units and
  • 1 year of relevant vocational experience = 1 unit.

How to register

Consider the standards required for registration as CEnv and decide if you are ready to apply. Download an application form and applicants short guide and follow the process outlined in the guide. The current fee for undergoing Professional Review is £161. If successful you will be invoiced for your initial registration fee (see Fees). No further costs are payable until the next calendar year when the annual renewal fee charged by the Society for the Environment will be added to your annual subscription.
