The Institute of Water Eastern Area Innovation Awards are open to anyone with an innovative idea that has made a difference in the Eastern Area Water Industry. The Innovation Awards are open to all individuals, teams or organisations that operate within the Eastern Area. The innovation must be something that has been applied or implemented in the UK.
Do you have an innovative technology that is set to revolutionise the way the water industry works?
Interested in pitching your innovative solution in front of Anglian Water’s CEO and Head of Innovation?
The Water Industry is changing. Challenges such as climate change, growth, environmental standards, the economic environment and customer expectations, mean that new ideas and flexible responses are needed, if we are to continue to provide our services in a safe and reliable way. Service standards must remain but the industry faces a constant drive towards being increasingly efficient. Innovation is key to tackling future challenges, and is therefore the cornerstone of our flagship event.
Chaired by Steve Kaye, Head of Innovation at Anglian Water, our dragon’s den style day introduces the challenges and opportunities associated with Innovation in the Water Industry.
Pitchers entering the den will be pitching their water industry innovations to both the audience and a panel of ferocious dragons, which includes Anglian Water’s CEO Peter Simpson and the Director of Integrated Supply Chain Jason Tucker, who will ultimately decide on a champion. The winning organisation will be put forward for the National Innovation Awards taking place in June 2018.
