Energy storage has seen an unprecedented interest to connect to the electricity network over the past 12-18 months.
As the first wave of projects, predominantly battery systems driven by high-value response service contracts with National Grid, moves from development to deployment and operation, questions remain over the potential that storage can play in the energy system and specifically the commercial and industrial sector.
This event, bringing together experts from the storage and wider energy sector, will provide an update on the energy storage market in the UK, the capabilities and costs of storage technology and identify the potential value that energy storage could provide to operational sites in the water industry.
