An Introduction To RainScape

The Welsh Area would like to invite you to 'An Introduction to RainScape' on the 22nd February.

This lunchtime talk will discuss the RainScape approach used by Welsh Water to sustainably manage surface water, by removing it from the combined sewer network or slowing down the rate at which it enters. RainScape is a key tool to help our communities become cleaner, greener places to live.

Welsh Water are seen as industry leaders in this area, as RainScape is becoming a business as usual approach and it is a key part of Welsh Water’s 2050 strategy. The presentation will focus on the benefits of RainScape as well as some examples of over 50 schemes delivered during AMP5 and AMP6.

To hear more about RainScape, you are invited to come along to this talk by Rachael Ng, Arup Civil Engineer and Michelle Russ, DCWW Alliance Enabling Works Co-ordinator.
