"Let's Stop The Block" 5 Years On: A Reflection On The Campaign's Success And The Next Stages.
Let's Stop the Block is a Dwr Cymru Welsh Water (DCWW) campaign, launched in April 2013, to encourage the public to help reduce the risk of pollution and sewage flooding of homes.
The aim of the campaign is to transform customers' behaviours when it comes to putting things down the toilet and disposing of fat, oils and grease. Blocked sewers are a serious problem which costs DCWW over £7m a year to clear.
Dom Scott, previously Tactical Sewerage Manager, along with Ffion Green, who's been investigating how to improve the campaign's impact, will provide an update on the campaign journey. This talk will review the approaches that have been trialled, the progress made and will reflect on the next stage for the campaign.
For those unable to attend the event in person there are 24 spaces available to attend via webinar. Please contact Lucy via email@example.com to reserve one of these online places and to receive the joining details, there is no need to book via the link below.
